Platinum Championship Wrestling 2nd Anniversary Show--March 15, 2014--Porterdale,GA

120 rabid fans came out for Platinum Championship Wrestling's St. Patrick's Day show celebrating their 2nd anniversary at the Main Event in Porterdale, GA.  The show was action packed from top to bottom. There wasn't a bad match on the card.

Match 1: "Hit for Hire" Bobby Moore vs. "Go Time" Erik Jones.
Winner: "Hit for Hire" Bobby Moore

Bobby Moore took the mic when he entered and blamed Miss Rachel for his PCW losing streak. He told the audience that if Rachel were present he'd slap her.

Bobby Moore laid into Erik Jones with kicks and punches.  Jones answered with blows of his own.  Moore attacked Jones outside the ring then tosses him back in.  He went for a pin, but Jones kicked out.  Moore showed more emotion and intensity in this match than I'd seen from him in previous outings.  Jones matched that intensity with fire of his own which made this a good opening contest. Jones went up for a splash, but he missed allowing Moore to capitalize.  Moore pinned Jones after a knockout elbow.

Match 2: Sugar Shane vs. Velvet Jones
Winner: Velvet Jones.

My 6 year old son, Ian, made the mistake of waving his handheld video game in the face of Quasi Mandisco, who snatched it from him. Quasi wandered around the ring with it making fun of the quality of the system, generating himself some serious heat in the process.  He called Ian up to the side of the ring to get his game back, but he would repeatedly snatch it away when Ian reached for it. Ian finally got it back and told me to put it in my purse.

Quasi made fun of the fact that MAIM took Supernatural out of action, and he said "Johnny Danger Time is no more, and so is Johnny Danger." Sugar Shane insulted the audience.  "Ya'll are the most low class inbred pieces of white trash I ever saw." Velvet Jones came out and told Shane that when he insulted the audience, he insulted him.  They set the stipulation that whoever lost the match had to leave PCW for 30 days.

Sugar Shane and Velvet Jones locked up.  Shane went up top, and Velvet dropped him.  Shane punched Velvet a couple times. Velvet clotheslined Shane right out of the ring.  Shane went to Quasi for support, and Velvet knocked both of them down.  Velvet suplexed Shane, but only managed to get a 2 count.  Shane threw Velvet into the middle turnbuckle, then punched him and threw him into a corner.  Shane chopped Velvet in the chest.  Velvet reversed Shane into the corner, pulled his shirt over his face, and gave him chops of his own.  He then whipped him into the opposite corner and chopped him again.  Sugar Shane attempted a sleeper hold, but Velvet got out quickly.  Velvet attempted a sleeper of his own.  Velvet tired to roll up Shane for a pin, but Shane kicked out.  Shane slammed Velvet and attempted a pin, but Velvet kicked out. Velvet delivered a big slam to Shane, but Shane kicked out.  Shane followed that with a big elbow.  Quasi tried to introduce a chair into the match, and the Platinum Crusader's music played. He swooped out from under the ring and beat up Quasi outside the ring.  Velvet scoop slammed Shane and pinned him. Shane now has to leave PCW for thirty days.

Match 3: Brian Blaze vs. "Dynomite Soul" Eric Walker

Brian Blaze told Velvet Jones to stay in the ring.  He said he was having deja vu because six months ago Big F'n Deal had shown in the ring who they are. "Geter has held every heavyweight title in the state of GA, and I will be the first triple crown champion. We don't care if you want to try and make a name for yourself here, but this is our ring, and we have unfinished business."

Dynomite Soul came out to face Brian Blaze, and Velvet Jones remained in his corner.  The action spilled outside the ring quickly and turned into an all out brawl.  Velvet Jones and Geter who were both at ringside got involved and it escalated.  Shane Mackey and the referee got control of the chaos long enough to turn the match into a tag team contest.

Match 4: Big F'n Deal (Geter and Brian Blaze) vs. Velvet Jones and Dynomite Soul
Winners: Big F'n Deal

There was so much fury from Big F'n Deal at the start of this match.  Geter tagged in and butt bumped Dynomite Soul in the corner.  He attempted a pin, but Dynomite kicked out.  Dynomite was isolated for a long time. Blaze hit him with a snapmare, then followed with a clothesline.  Geter tagged in and kneed Dynomite Soul in the chest.  He attempted a pin, but it was only a 2 count.  Dynomite Soul punched Geter, and Geter knocked him down like he was nothing.  Blaze tagged in and took Dymomite Soul down, but only managed a 2 count.  Geter landed a huge elbow to Dynomite Soul.  Dynomite maintained steam despite being isolated for so long.  He kicked Geter repeatedly.  Velvet tagged in and drop kicked Blaze then punched him in the corner.  Dynomite Soul tagged back in and Geter clotheslined both Velvet and Dynomite Soul. He then tossed Velvet Jones out of the ring.  Geter held Dynomite Soul while Blaze did an elbow off the rope.  Blaze pinned Dynomite Soul for the win.  A fan tried to hand Geter a happy meal to congratulate him for his win.

Match 5: De La Vega vs. Marko Polo
Winner De La Vega

Marko was decked out in his St. Patrick's Day finest. He wore a mini leprechaun hat, a green fake mustache, and a green shirt that said "Love" on it.  Marko kicked Vega down and went for an early pin, but only managed a 2 count.  He grabbed him off the top rope in the corner, ran into the other corner and rammed him into the turnbuckle.  Vega did an STO followed by an elbow. He attempted a pin, but Marko kicked out.  Polo did an armbar, then hit Vega with a back elbow.  They hit each other and they were both down for a moment.  Marko did a clothesline, back elbow, then followed with another clothesline. He then hit Vega with a forearm to the midsection.  Polo hit Vega with a leg drop, went for the pin, but Vega kicked out.  Vega did a crossbody. Polo threw Vega into the corner, and did a neckbreaker. Vega kicked out of the pin attempt.  Polo tried to come up under Vega's legs to roll him up, but Vega got his shoulders down and pinned him instead. Marko extended his hand as a sign of respect, Vega kind of slapped it, but didn't actually shake it.

Main Event: Adrian Armour, Sylar Cross and Chip Day vs. The Washington Bullets and Shane Marx.

Jeff G. Bailey started by addressing Shane Marx.  "One of our brothers is on the other team.  Come down, face me one on one.  We won't beat you up."  Shane Marx came down to speak to Jeff G. Bailey. Jeff G. Bailey continued "I know you were just trying to protect Rachel.  There's room for you here alongside Adrian Armour, Sylar Cross, and Chip Day. We all care about you. You're Empire just like us." Shane answered, "There are two cardinal sins you never commit.  You put your hands on Rachel. She is my friend. You pissed me off." (Honestly, it made me chuckle that the audience cheered so loudly about putting hands on Rachel being a cardinal sin. Two months ago she rivaled Quasi for most hated person in the city.)

Adrian Armour, Sylar Cross and Chip Day then beat down Shane Marx.  The Washington Bullets came out to Marx's aid and the referee has to gain control before he can officially start the match.  The heels played coward once the numbers were even.  Chaos ensued again and all three faces were in the ring with the heels continuing to cower outside. Chip Day was in with Jon Williams of the Bullets and they grappled for a bit.  Jon tagged in Trey and they double teamed Chip.  Shane then tags in. Chip Day ran out of the ring and all the way out of the building.  Shane tried to run after him. Chip sneaked back in through the back entrance.  Sylar Cross tried to put Shane Marx in a sleeper, but Shane easily got to his feet.  Chip tagged in and kicked Shane in the chest.  Armour tagged in and landed a knee to Shane's face.  He kicked Shane in the head when he was down. Sylar was taken down by an enziguiri from Shane Marx.  This match was chaotic with quick tags and quick exchanges between the participants.  The heels attacked Trey Williams while the referee argued with Jon Williams.  Chip gave Trey an ax kick while Sylar held him down.  Sylar tried to pin him, but Trey kicked out.  Trey was isolated for a long time, and he took down Sylar with what felt like his last bit of energy.  Both men were down for a moment. Sylar tagged in Chip and Trey tagged in Shane.  Shane barreled through Chip with kicks and punches.  Shane hit Chip with the Natural Selection, but Chip got his foot on the rope to break the count.  The bullets double drop kicked Sylar. Adrian Armour missed a kick. The Bullets double teamed Adrian Armour and Trey Williams got the pin.  Shane Mackey set a title match between Trey Williams and Chip Day for April 5th when PCW returns to Porterdale.
