The crowd was still small for this show. I counted 30 in the audience, but it was an enthusiastic crowd. The show was generally better than it was last time, but still had its weak spots.
Match 1: Joe Black vs. Kevin Blue
The match started out pretty good. The Fraternity came out to ringside and sat next to me. I figured they were up to something. Joe had Kevin in an armbreaker, and Kevin countered into a headscissors. Joe asked for a time out saying that Kevin pulled his hair. Joe kneed Kevin in the corner, and Kevin countered with punches. Joe pinned Kevin, but Kevin kicked out. Joe kneed Kevin, then got him in a lock, and he pulled his hair. Kevin threw punches. Joe did a leg drop, and attempted a pin. He then did a backbreaker, then attempted a submission, and then he slammed Kevin down. Joe delivered several chops to Kevin in the corner that were answered with kicks. Joe then headbutts Kevin. Kevin countered a suplex attempt with clotheslines, then a bulldog, attempting to pin Joe unsuccessfully. Joe did a backbreaker and got a two count. Kevin Blue won with what looked like a neckbreaker where he flips his opponent over. Marko got up and began taunting Blue as he's still wearing the shirt he stole from the merchandise table last time, and he's still holding Kevin's U.S. championship belt.
Match 2: God's Gift to Wrestling vs. Overdrive
William Huckaby cut a heel-turn promo where he complained that while he was injured no one sent him letters, cards or well-wishes. He then mocked all the teams and wrestlers who just stay here in Georgia while he and his partner Shawn Adams wrestle all over. He said he'd give his opponent "the beating of a lifetime". Their opponents, Overdrive, were smaller and quicker, and they were pretty good when it came to double teaming. God's Gift to Wrestling won the match with a double team move where Huckaby threw the guy and Adams got him with a knee.
Match 3: The Black Ninja vs. Zach Daniels
Zach started out doing mock karate moves at the ninja. Zach did his worst, but the Ninja kept coming back for more. Zach won the match, but there was little doubt this would be the outcome. The match was amusing, and it seemed popular with the kids.
All Sells Final:
Johnny Danger and Matt Sells said they dropped the PWR titles while playing mini-golf, so that's why they're not wearing them today. Since Kevin Ballenger recently joined, they decided they needed to find him a date, so they set up The Dating Game for that purpose. Johnny Danger reached into his tights and pulled out a stinky bandana to blindfold Kevin Ballenger so he couldn't see the contestants. The contestants were Nina Monet, Dementia De Rose, Aja Pereira, and Grundy. The first question was "What is your ideal dinner date?" Aja answered Hooters for beer and wings. Grundy simply grunted. Dementia answered roadkill. Nina said, "Anywhere as long as you're paying, but it'd better be fancy." The second and final question was "What kind of chocolate do you like?" Nina began with expensive and foreign. Grundy simply grunted. Aja said "Chocolate should come from the heart." Dementia said she didn't want something from the heart, she'd rather cut out your heart.
Aja and Grundy fought over Ballenger, and this was the lead in to the planned ladies 4 way elimination matches. During the match, the crowd was split between Aja and Grundy. Nina Monet won this weak and confusing match. She waited until the others were eliminated then stole the win.
Main Event:
Brian Blaze, Marko, and Geter (The Fraternity) vs. Matt Sells, Johnny Danger, and Kevin Ballenger (Rock and Roll Models)
The Rock and Roll Models tired of waiting for the Fraternity to get started, so they came and sat in the audience. While they did that, the Fraternity mocked them by putting on their jackets. Sells and Blaze started. Matt's armbar was reversed by Blaze. Matt got him down into a chinlock. Blaze attempted a pin. Matt did a submission that Brian escaped. Matt attemped it again to no avail. They both went for a kick, but they caught each other's leg, and they agreed to let go on three, which Sells didn't. Matt slammed Brian. Matt took Brian's head between his legs and bounced it onto the canvas 5 times. The action spilledoutside the ring as Matt and Johnny fought all three members of the group. Geter started to do a dive onto all of them, but they ran.
Johnny Danger and Brian Blaze were in next. Johnny Danger made one pin attempt, but Blaze kicked out. Matt Sells tagged back in, and threw punches to Brian Blaze's face. Geter then tagged in, and did a giant suplex to Matt Sells. Marko then tags in. The referee is distracted by Johnny Danger while the Fraternity has Sells isolated. Marko hadSells in a submission and he jumped to hit Matt. The third time he did it, Matt counteredwith his knees. Danger taggged in, and so did Blaze. Danger attemptted a pin, but Marko broke up the count. Ballenger and Danger double teamed Blaze, then Ballenger suplexed Blaze. Marko broke up the count again. Marko tagged in and attempted a pin of his own to no avail. Blaze and Ballenger exchanged blows in the corner. Geter falsely tagged in while the referee was distracted. He only managed a 2 count on Ballenger who was isolated for a bit. Geter manhandled him, but he kicked out again. Blaze came back in, and Ballenger kicked him.
Danger clotheslined Blaze then kicked him. Marko broke up the pin yet again. Blaze tagged in Geter, and Danger tagged in Sells. Sells chopped Geter in the corner, and when Blaze attempttedto come in, Sells threw him out of the ring. Marko pulled Johnny Danger out of the ring, leaving only Sells and Geter. Matt was distracted by the action outside, and Geter slammed him hard. Matt powered out at 2. Geter and Blaze double teamed Sells. Geter held Matt up and dropped him while Blaze elbowed him, and the Fraternity wins. A major brawl broke out at the end.
Aja Pereira grabbed the microphone and said "Nina, you cheated to win, and that's not how we do things. You find yourself a partner because I want to face you November 10th." At the next show, Aja and a partner of her choosing will face Nina and a partner of her choosing.
