Attendance was only 40, and I suspect football season and weather were the culprits. There were only two matches on the card, but the first was an hour long iron man match between Fred Yehi and Shane Marx. I was skeptical that the two of them would be able to hold the attention of Porterdale's crowd for the entire hour, but the crowd was hot for the whole match. As Miss Rachel entered with Shane Marx, a girl held a sign that said Miss Rachel is smart and sexy. Rachel took the sign from her, threw it on the ground, and stomped it.
Fred Yehi won the first fall of the match when Shane Marx tapped to the Koji clutch. Fred was on a roll as he won the second fall. Shane came to the aid of Miss Rachel, hitting Fred Yehi with a chair. Fred attacked her after she meddled in the match on behalf of Shane Marx. The third fall went to Shane Marx who pinned Fred Yehi with the Natural Selection. Shane reversed a splash attempt from Fred into a spinebuster from the second rope to score the fourth fall of the contest. Shane also scored the fifth fall by pinning Fred. Fred tied up the contest by pinning Shane at the 52 minute mark, and he pulled out the victory scoring his 7th fall with only 5 seconds remaining. Porterdale fans went crazy when Fred Yehi won.
Johnny Danger did his popular Johnny Danger time segment after intermission. He told the audience he'd been down recently since Sylar Cross ended his career. Stephen Platinum called him recently because he felt like a failure. He said "They used to call me the heart of PCW, but I tried to help Marko win against Sylar Cross, and he failed. I failed when I tried to help Supernatural win the ladder match, so I'm not the brain of PCW. I can't get in the ring and fight anymore, so I'm not the right hand of PCW. What am I?" He explained he became angry and frustrated, but Platinum told him wisely "Johnny Danger, you are the spirit of PCW." He told the fans that they are powerful and don't even know it. He led us in some cheers against heels Jeff G. Bailey and Chip Day. They included "Jeff is stupid." and "Chip's a butthole." He then explained that Casey Kincaid has some darkness in him, but he's the type of hero that PCW needs. Our chant for him was "Kill, Casey, Kill."
Jeff G Bailey came out with Chip Day and said that Johnny Danger Time was a waste of time. The crowd drowned out most of Jeff G's rant with the "Jeff is Stupid chant." I managed to hear that Jeff G.Bailey wants to wipe out every trace of Stephen Platinum's existence from PCW, and that "no one will take the Empire title from him, and no one will take the PCW belt from Chip." Casey Kincaid became frustrated because he couldn't pin Chip and he took it out on the referee. While Casey was in a shoving match with the referee, Chip capitalized and pinned Casey. Jeff G. Bailey and Chip celebrated their victory by playing "Whoop, There It Is" and dancing in the ring. Casey cut their victory party short by spitting "green mist" in Chip's face. Chip ran away calling for Jeff G. Bailey like a crybaby.
PCW ran an exciting show that had only two matches containing 4 wrestlers, 2 managers, and a talk show segment. Both matches contained exceptional technical wrestling.
Platinum Championship Wrestling will be back October 31st at 7pm for a special Halloween show, and they will also do their usual 1st Saturday of the month show on November 2nd.
